What is our 212 Behavioral Program?

9 year old212° F is the temperature that water turns to steam.  We believe that it will take energy to create lasting change in your child’s behavior.  If you know your kiddo isn’t at his or her best, consistently acting out at home or at school, refusing to do homework or follow directions. If you need help creating that energy, we have help to offer.  We will go into your home, assess your environment and give you a personalized written behavioral plan to address the problematic behavior you are seeing.  With your behavioral plan you will also receive two, thirty minute follow up & support sessions.

Our 212 program only employees Licensed Professional Counselors, trained in clinical behavioral management with extensive experience in child psychiatric hospitals.  With all of our experience we know not every kid needs 6 week partial hospitalization program to straighten up basic behavioral problems.  Call us to see if a behavioral plan is right for you.

Behavior Management Plan:

Includes a behavioral assessment (observing the child’s behavior, triggers to behavior, and identification of motivators) and the development of a highly specific behavior plan with interventions that are designed to diminish, extinguish, or improve specific behaviors related to the youth’s behavioral health. Supervision and coordination of interventions and training other interveners to address specific behavioral objectives or performance goals are provided.

Behavioral Management Monitoring:

Monitoring includes implementation of the behavioral plan developed by the 212 Therapist as well as monitoring of the youth’s behavior and reinforcing the implementation of the behavior plan by the caregiver. Also included is reporting back to the 212 Therapist on the implementation of the behavior plan and progress toward behavior objectives or performance goals so that the behavioral plan may be modified, as needed.

Cost:

$500: includes one hour home assessment, written plan with two 30 minutes follow up sessions.
